Firstly, producing vibration for vibratory conveyors and feeders. The carbon fibre or epoxy glass leaf springs which Heathcotes manufacture are the driving force behind many leading producers of vibrating machinery worldwide.

Secondly, eliminating vibration. Heathcotes manufacture a wide range of Constrained Layer Dampers (CLD's) and Laminated Metals which are used in a wide variety of applications to remove unwanted noise and vibration.

Composite Leaf Springs:

Heathcotes started in business in 1979 making epoxy glass composite leaf springs for vibratory conveyors and feeders. Composite leaf springs have 6 times longer fatigue life than traditional steel springs and are much more efficient, giving improved vibration response and controllability.

Heathcotes manufacture a wide range of composite panels in either epoxy glass or carbon fibre using the highest quality materials and processes. These are then cut and drilled to the customer's exact specifications.

We also manufacture a range of spacers to separate springs and can use our extensive knowledge of these vibrating systems to optimise your machine's spring configuration and get the best performance from your equipment.

Vibration Damping:

In 1998, Heathcotes started to manufacture Constrained Layer Dampers and Laminated Metals for the elimination of unwanted noise and vibration.

These vibration dampers are used in a large variety of applications across many different industries to reduce the levels of vibration in structures to reduce noise levels and increase fatigue life.

Dampers can be made to any size and shape from a variety of different materials, optimised to give the highest levels of performance for your specific applications.

Laminated Products:

In 2003, Heathcotes started to apply their knowledge of laminating to other applications. These are usually in the form of rolls or sheets and often involve the lamination of an adhesive layer to plastics or metals or the application of optical films.

Today, Heathcotes manufacture a wide range of Composite Springs, Composite Panels, Vibration dampers, Sandwich Metals and Plastic laminates for customers around the globe.
